Study Island Customization

If you have stuggling readers who need additional help and support in using Study Island, you can request the "Text-to-Speech" option for these students. On practice and assessment pages when the user does not have a "speaker" icon to listen to a question or information on the page, they can use the mouse to select the text they wish to have read aloud, then click on the play icon which is located at the top of the Study Island page. Please enter "Text-to-Speech" requests in the Tech Helpdesk. Include your name and building, the name(s) of the student(s), and grade level.
