Moodle is a Course Management System (CMS), also known as a Learning Management System (LMS), or a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). It is a free (open-source) web application that educators can use to create effective online learning sites. Moodle has become very popular among educators around the world as a tool for creating online dynamic content for their students. You can use Moodle as an online supplement to your classroom content, for blended classes (meeting face-to-face and online, and for 100% online classes.
